Toronto Pearson International Airport (IATA: YYZ) is the main airport serving the city of Toronto, Ontario, Canada and its metropolitan area and the Golden Horseshoe urban region of 8.7 million people. The airport is 22.5 km from downtown Toronto, with most of the airport (including the two main terminals) located in the neighboring city.

It is located in Mississauga, and a small portion of the airport site extends into Toronto's western district of Etobicoke.

Pearson Airport is Canada's largest and busiest airport. Welcoming 41,036,847 passengers and recording 443,154 aircraft movements in 2015, the airport became the world's 33rd busiest airport by passenger traffic, 22nd busiest by international passenger traffic and 15th busiest by flights. UP Express

UP Express (Union Pearson Express) is an express airport railway line operating between Union Station in central Toronto and Pearson airport. The line connecting the airport to Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 Station offers a 25-minute journey to Union Station. 7 days a week, UP Express starts operating from Pearson to Union at 05.27 in the morning and operates every 15 minutes throughout the day until 00.57 at night. LINK Train

LINK Train is an automated passenger transport system operating between Terminal 1, Terminal 3, and Viscount Value Parking at Pearson Airport. It connects to the airport from Toronto Pearson Terminal 1 Station and Toronto Pearson Terminal 3 Station. LINK Train is a free shuttle service that runs every 4 to 8 minutes, 24 hours a day.

Taxi

Taxis licensed by the city of Mississauga are available at all terminals. Toronto-licensed taxis can drop off passengers at Toronto Pearson, but only airport-licensed taxis and limousines can legally pick up passengers at Toronto Pearson. Airport Road to the north and Dixon Road to the east both provide regional transportation to the airport. When drivers drop off or pick up passengers at Toronto Pearson, they are only allowed to stop briefly in the arrivals and departures areas of the terminals.

Car rental agencies for car rental are located on the first floor of the parking garage adjacent to both terminals. A few car rental companies are located outside the airport.
