Cikmaz Sokak, written by Şahabettin Süleyman in 1907 and presenting a drama about female homosexuality in the Ottoman Empire, is one of the rare plays that has never been staged in our theater history. Eight female actors will be the voice of love, who does not listen to the forbidden, in this play, which could not be carried to the stage despite making a big impact at the time it was written, and will be boldly staged by the Şişli Theater for the first time in 115 years.
