SANDLAND (Antalya Sand Sculpture Museum) is one of the oldest, prestigious and largest sand sculpture events in the world, which has been held since 2006 with its features such as the width of the area, the number of artists participating and the amount of sand used, where hundreds of sand sculptures of gigantic sizes are exhibited.

Sand sculpture art is a special type of ephemeral (temporary) art that has become widespread in the world in recent years. Only water and river sand are used in sand sculpture activities within the scope of alternative arts. Sculptures made by international sculptors in April each year appear as magnificent works of hundreds of tons, meters in length and height, using only water and sand. Sand sculpture art carries the philosophy that nothing is permanent and everything will disappear one day. For this reason, these unique works, which astonish the audience, are exhibited for a short period of time and then completely destroyed by demolishing new ones.

In Antalya's world-famous Lara Beach, the magnificent works that emerged as a result of the 3-week performances of professional sand sculpture artists from many countries of the world, using 10 thousand tons of river sand on an area of approximately 7 thousand square meters, can be visited every day. Sandland, the world's first and only exhibition open to visitors for 12 months, can be visited between 09:00 and 23:00 every day between 1 May and 1 November, and between 09:00 and 19:00 between 1 November and 1 May.

The new theme of this year's exhibition has been determined as "SPACE ADVENTURE". In the exhibition, humanity's journey to space is covered in chronological order with an enjoyable and instructive approach. In this context, Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo, Wright Brothers, Montgolfier Brothers, Hazerfen Çelebi, Zeppelin, Yury Gagarin, the first man in space, Neil Armstrong, the first man to set foot on the moon, Space Shuttle Columbia, Space X Dragon 2 Capsule, Mars Space Colony. There are many sculptures made around the themes of planets in the Solar System and dozens of other themes. In addition, the protagonist of many unforgettable space movies such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Wall-E, Avatar, Guardians of the Galaxy, Fifth Element and many more are portrayed in the exhibition.

In the context of the theme, visitors are offered the opportunity to watch the sun, moon and planets live on the giant screen with powerful telescopes, and the human gyroscope, which is used for training by astronauts, provides a unique experience for visitors. At the event area, which appeals to everyone from 7 to 70, little visitors can participate in the workshop program organized using kinetic sand in the specially created Sihirli Kum Kale and find the opportunity to create their first works of art.

Located on the seaside, the exhibition also offers ATV safari, water sports and similar activity opportunities to guests who wish to do so. The sculptures in the exhibition area are colored by the LED lighting system at night, and the atmosphere takes on a fairy-tale atmosphere with the music broadcast within the framework of the theme. On another giant LED screen in the Museum Cafeteria, a documentary showing the construction stages of the sculptures is shown for those who are curious.
